John and I took a walk during lunch and came upon this cute little fountain.

Got an electric tea kettle for faster tea time!

I know a lot of people get ticked because everyone’s starting to celebrate Christmas too early but I personally love getting as much holiday cheer as I can out of the year.

I was giddy when I saw that Starbucks is now serving their eggnog lattes!

I looked up some how-to videos on embroidering and tried it on Harrington. This little guy is now going to be someone’s first birthday present.

Laura from Little Orange Kitchen sent me a little gift in the mail! Thank you, Laura! I have an addiction to lip gloss that I was starting to get under control!

I know food shouldn’t be a source of happiness but the vegan pizza at Ethos is so good, I can’t help but post about it. The Cinnamon Apple tea and tomato basil soup I had with it were also very good.

After a year, it’s finally done!

Give me something quiet and mundane to do and I will be a happy camper.

We got no trick-or-treaters tonight so now we get to eat all of the candy ourselves!

Today had a lot of potential “happies”: vegan food for lunch, a surprise visit from one of the normally skittish feral cats outside of our townhouse and Giles sporting a tiny jean jacket. I probably would have posted one of those if not for the ridiculous growth rate of the pumpkin seeds I planted.

I took a picture of them this morning before I left for work. When I got home they were noticably taller. I’ve never seen anything grow so fast!

Piranha is such a sweet little kitty cat and when he’s not whining, he puts a smile on my face. Plus he let’s me use him as a pillow.

The WordPress app lost my happy for the other day (Oct 27)… So this one is going to be short.

John bought me this ridiculously tacky Snuggie yesterday! Keeps me warm and makes me laugh.

Ashley, Joel and I went for a walk during lunch yesterday and came across this awesome house. I loved their super-creepy decorations. Ashley got scared of a stuffed bird! Boo!

Jessy and I carved some pumpkins! The small square-o-lantern made me crack up. It’s the best.

Did some yard work today. Exhausted! One of the two oranges that grew on our orange tree ripened. John managed to dig up the rogue bamboo in the backyard. After we cleaned up our mess, we brought out the sprinkler. I had to coax John into playing in the sprinkler with me.

The smell of the water reminded me of being a kid. My mom always set up the sprinkler out back or filled up one of those plastic kiddy pools. It felt wonderful after working so hard. I’ve never played in the sprinklers fully clothed before. It might be more fun than running around in your bathing suit.
