First off, happy Thanksgiving to all! I’m having a great time with my family! We’re watching the parade, drinking egg nog!

My parents went out for last minute groceries and brought back some Eggnogg’n tea for me! Woohoo!

The best part of my day has definitely got to be seeing my dad and Debbie for the first time in a few months. It’s been hard since everyone moved away, they are my strongest support system. I’m so excited to be able to spend Thanksgiving with them and to be able to visit my sister, Brandi. Woohoo!

Something about being surrounded by cute things just makes me giddy. I bought these cute handmade pendants from Kimiko on Etsy and received them in the mail yesterday!

John was having a rough morning so we went on a walk during lunch. The weather was beautiful. Hopefully he left feeling better. It made my day to have some time with him.

Happiness shouldn’t come from material goods but I can’t help it. John was sweet and went out and bought the new Sims 3 expansion to surprise me.

I got a huge package of tea in the mail from Jennifer Bliss today! Thanks so much for all of it. We almost thought it was lost in the mail, so it was a nice surprise. Now I’m settling down for the night with a cup of Chai Redbush from Yogi Tea. :9

We sort of saw the shuttle yesterday.

Bought an armoire because my small collection of jewelry seemed to be getting out of hand. Being organized isn’t neccessarily the direct cause of my happiness but it calms me and being calm allows me to be happy.

I love meeting up with friends unexpectedly and spending the whole day together. We met new people, had great conversations, many laughs and delicious food. John and I finished our night out with some icecream. Our unplanned day was a success! Any day that ends with icecream is a success.

We had so much fun last night at All Fired Up. I can’t remember the last time I laughed so hard my face turned red. Afterwards, Ashley and I sat on The World’s Most Boring Bench and talked for an hour. The weather was perfect. There was lots of girl talk (after Giles left) and there were ridiculous pictures taken. Thanks to Emily and Kelly for planning our Happy Hour!

Changes, when not too drastic, pep me up. I got it in my head yesterday that I wanted to change my hair color. Not too different, you probably can’t even tell by the picture, but it’s just a little change.

John and I took a walk during lunch and came upon this cute little fountain.

I know a lot of people get ticked because everyone’s starting to celebrate Christmas too early but I personally love getting as much holiday cheer as I can out of the year.

I was giddy when I saw that Starbucks is now serving their eggnog lattes!

I looked up some how-to videos on embroidering and tried it on Harrington. This little guy is now going to be someone’s first birthday present.

Laura from Little Orange Kitchen sent me a little gift in the mail! Thank you, Laura! I have an addiction to lip gloss that I was starting to get under control!
